POSITION: Executive Producer DEPARTMENT: News

REPORTS TO: FLSA: Salaried Exempt

JOB CLASS: Management LOCATION: Rye Brook, New York

POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive Producer oversees the content and production of daily public affairs broadcast in a complex live and live-to-tape operation. Must be able to mentor, lead, and coach staff members to produce engaging newscasts with accuracy and consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Lead editorial meeting for topic/guest selection
• Manage producers and facilitate rundown creation and on air product
• Work with on-air talent, content producers and the production team to deliver a superior product
• Ensure copy is written conversationally
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

DIRECT REPORT(S): Producers, Talelnt, Graphics, Staff Editors, Bookers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BA/BS Degree with a minimum of 5year producing experience. Talk show experience
